Tiny Transit™ Strategies is a grassroots movement that advocates protected networks of lanes and off-road paths for Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) and other low speed modes. This is a low-cost mobility solution that is already taking root around the globe because of its myriad of benefits.
We are strategists, educators, and advocates. Our goal is to unleash the potential of this new concept. We work at the intersection of engineering and public policy. We don’t build infrastructure, manufacture vehicles, or operate fleets. Instead, we are building relationships with industry, service providers, neighborhoods, governments, and others, to refine, demonstrate, and include this concept in transportation plans.
By definition, Tiny Transit™ vehicles are low speed (25 mph maximum), low air emission, lightweight, and narrower than conventional vehicles. Included are Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs), pedicabs, scooters, motorized bicycles, and trikes.
We are becoming a key resource for protected networks. We learn more each day, and we share what we learn on this website.
If your community is interested, we can visit and conduct an educational workshop. And, we can help identify suitable locations for pilot projects.>
